Inspiring school leaders to be catalysts for positive change!

Come join us on March 15, 2022 at 12pm PST, as featured school leaders share how they have been catalysts for positive change over the past year. From engineering to digital pathways to supporting teacher leaders – you’re bound to learn something you can apply to your school environment.

This one-hour event will also include some opportunities to connect with other school leaders, learn about some new and exciting things happening at Knowing Technologies, and if interested, spend some additional time with the spotlight speakers to ask more questions about their work.

Read about each of these spotlight speakers below.

Foothill Country Day School (Claremont, CA): Inspired by the positive impact remote learning had on different student groups, learn more about how a vision for growth and a passion to create an experience for all learners led to the Foothill Digital Program.

The San Francisco School (San Francisco, CA): A KT partner for many years, they were eager to elevate their educators with the knowledge and skills associated with creative engineering. Learn how they laid out a year-long plan to expose and inspire a cohort of educators to build internal capacity with topics such as coding, making, design, and creative problem solving.

De La Salle High School (Concord, CA): How can school leaders support staff, build community and be an exemplar for innovation and tech integration? These two school leaders will share how they are modeling new and creative ways to use technology for their staff while promoting powerful teaching techniques. Plus, learn how their partnership with KT supports their accreditation efforts!

Berkeley Hall School (Los Angeles, CA): How do you get your teacher leaders to soar? Learn how creating a Trailblazer team — whose mission is to model effective and engaging lessons, create collaborative learning opportunities, and serve as inspiration for their peer educators — makes this possible.

We look forward to seeing you there!

“School leadership strongly affects student learning. Principals are central to the task of building schools that promote powerful teaching and learning for all students” (Darling-Hammond & Bransford, 2005, p.3).

Knowing Technologies is a team of educators, coaches, and former administrators who understand that educators want to sharpen their skills and techniques.
